TownMarketPosterOur board member Steve Orlomoski will be representing the society at the Canterbury Town Market  at the town hall parking lot on Thursday, September 8.  Please stop by if you can.

If you were just thinking, “Now where could I get some nice Canterbury-related souvenirs,” this is your opportunity. You can purchase a great Canterbury crock/vase, tee-shirts of various colors and sizes featuring the historic one-room Green district schoolhouse (the town’s only district schoolhouse that’s open to the public), a selection of outstanding tote bags, handsome notecards featuring fine pen-and-ink images of Canterbury architecture, and a book of photos of Canterbury and Canterburians of the past and present. All proceeds support the projects, programs, and special events of the Canterbury Historical Society. And prices are bargains; crocks are only $10 each.

In truth, you can order these same items through this website’s gift shop page  too, but then you’d miss the chance to chat with Steve, wouldn’t you?

While at the town market, check out the offerings of local farmers and crafters too. And don’t be surprised to find a frozen yogurt truck and a few other food vendors.

Steve hopes to see you there.
