Please drop in and visit with Santa and Mrs. Merry Claus—the real ones! It’s become an annual event. Turns out they are history buffs and love greeting us here in Canterbury’s 19th century one-room Green District Schoolhouse. Enjoy this special, up-close, and personal social call and photo opportunity hosted by the Canterbury Historical Society. The Clauses want to hear your Christmas wish list and have their picture taken with you. The November timing makes it early enough in the season to allow you to feature that photo on your family’s Christmas cards.

In addition to the photo op, snack on yummy cookies baked by Mrs. Claus, all while you enjoy the restored 19th century one-room schoolhouse decked out in holiday finery. Be sure to bring your own camera.

We invite you to bring nonperishable food items along to your  Claus visit, for donation to the local Canterbury Cares food bank.
