Meet Ben Franklin in Canterbury!

How many times do you get to meet a bona fide Founding Father? On Wednesday, September 2nd at 7:30PM, you’re invited to our Canterbury Historical Society meeting at the Town Hall Community Room where one of our favorite eastern Connecticut historians, Bev York, will introduce us to the one-and-only Benjamin Franklin — the man who invented practically everything.** It should be a fun, entertaining, and even educational evening, so mark your calendars and plan to join us for this free program!
Bev as Ben’s program will begin following a brief meeting of the Canterbury Historical Society which begins at 7PM. All are welcome to join us!
