Announcing Canterbury’s 1st Annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest!

As part of this year’s Canterbury Old Home Day, to be held on Saturday, September 30th, we’ll be hosting our very first Scarecrow Decorating Contest! Open to individuals, families, schools, organizations, and businesses, there will be prizes for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place finishes in both the Children’s and Adult categories! Voting will take place during Old Home Day.

Due to space constraints, we can only accept a limited number of participants, so don’t wait to get in on the fun! Registration is required by September 15th in order to secure a plot for your scarecrow. To register, send an email to kelceyjohnsonmartin@gmail.com or call/text Kelcey at 860-428-1629. There is no fee to register.
