Another new year has rolled around which means the planning for another Old Home Day has begun! Applications are currently being accepted by the Planning Committee for Old Home Day which will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 from 11 am to 4 pm on the town Green.
If you’d like to participate in this year’s fall favorite event, please download, print out, complete and mail back pages 3 & 4 of the application with your payment if one is required. As space assignment on the grounds layout are on a first-come, first-serve basis, please send the application in at your earliest convenience. Previous participants will receive preference in the location of their spaces but only until May 1st. Please note that the deadline for applications to assure a space will be August 31, 2024 – no exceptions. Any application received after that date will be put on a “Waitlist” and may receive a space if someone else cancels.
The Old Home Day Planning Committee will consider all exhibitor/vendor applications and approve or decline them at the committee’s discretion. It should be noted that Old Home Day is a popular community fall celebration with an old-fashioned theme. The event is focused on historical displays, reenactors, farmers, friendly animals and hand-made goods. It is not a venue for reselling manufactured goods but highlights crafters of homemade items, many from the immediate local area.
For questions or more information, contact Old Home Day Chairperson Emily Logee-Savoie at 860-319-9784. If you leave a voice message, please be sure to include your name and contact number. Additionally, you can email Emily at firstname.lastname@example.org or send a message through this website.
We look forward to seeing you in September!
