The morning of Old Home Day dawned cold, rainy, and raw, but the weather didn’t dampen spirits as dozens of historical reenactors, practitioners of traditional crafts and trades, civic organizations, farmers, nonprofits, keepers of friendly animals, and other exhibitors prepared to welcome visitors. Later in the morning, skies brightened and the sun peeked out.
We thank the hearty souls who made the Old Home Day a success, from the exhibitors to volunteers, musicians, and visitors. It wouldn’t have been possible without these generous sponsors:
- Brooklyn-Canterbury Large
- Brooklyn’s Country View Restaurant
- BZB Farm
- Canterbury Better Val U
- Canterbury Mini-Storage
- Canterbury Recreation Commission
- Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Southeastern New England
