Thanks to All Who Contributed to the Canterbury Historical Society’s Old Home Day on October 13, 2018

The morning of Old Home Day dawned cold, rainy, and raw, but the weather didn’t dampen spirits as dozens of historical reenactors, practitioners of traditional crafts and trades, civic organizations, farmers, nonprofits, keepers of friendly animals, and other exhibitors prepared to welcome visitors. Later in the morning, skies brightened and the sun peeked out.

We thank the hearty souls who made the Old Home Day a success, from the exhibitors to volunteers, musicians, and visitors. It wouldn’t have been possible without these generous sponsors:

  • 2018 Old Home Day committee members, from left seated: John Baldwin, Emily Logee, Bob Blackard, and Ellen Wilson; standing: Linda Orlomoski, our terrific chairman Steve Orlomoski, and Amy Orlomoski (missing Bill Kivic and JoAnn Brustolon)
