Canterbury Old Home Day

September 30 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Canterbury’s favorite fall festival – Old Home Day – will be returning to the Canterbury Green after several years hiatus and we’ve got a long list of vendors and exhibitors who will be joining us on Saturday, September 30th from 10 am to 3 pm. With over 50 participants, there’s bound to be something for everyone so we hope you’ll join us for this free event!

In addition to all of the folks listed below, there will be a first-ever Scarecrow Contest, all-day entertainment on the Tony Denning Memorial Stage and a scavenger hunt for the kids! The historic one-room Green Schoolhouse will be open for tours and will also feature an exhibit of “Made in Canterbury” items including a world-renowned Hawes Fly Rod. There will be old cars on display as well as the chance to ride in an old car chauffeured by Bob Noiseux of Canterbury.

As a reminder, there’s no parking on-site except for those with a handicap placard; however, complimentary shuttle bus rides will be available all day from the Dr. Helen Baldwin Middle School at 45 Westminster Road to 6 South Canterbury Road where the Green is located.
